SUMMARY:State of the Yuba Sutter Bar Association
DESCRIPTION:This month\, the YSBA Board would like to share with you information and updates about the YSBA. In preparing our tax return for 2024\, some things have come to light\, requiring some changes and different investment and spending strategies for the investment fund which we use to fund the annual scholarships to high school seniors. We will also provide a Treasurer’s Report and talk about some changes in the rules and requirements for MCLE providers. \nSpeakers: \n\nCourtney Gengler\, YSBA President since 2018 (and YSBA Vice President in 2017)\nMelissa Poulos\, YSBA Secretary since 2017 (and also acting Treasurer since 2022)\nOmar Figueroa\, YSBA Treasurer since 2024\n\nIn addition\, there will be an election for YSBA Board members at the March meeting.
